OUR YOUTH TEAM

We invite all children and teenagers (aged 4-14) to come and enjoy this fantastic sport — no experience needed. We currently hold practice sessions for the Fireballs every Wednesday from 5.30-7.30pm through the summer season, with competitive games on Sundays, and we’re always on the lookout for more adults who want to assist with coaching.

Practices and home games are held at our dedicated youth field at the club’s main complex at the Waterhall sports fields in Brighton, right next to the adult diamond. Please find details below for our weekly training sessions and a form to get in touch.

TRAINING

Winter: Every Sunday, 10:30am-12:30pm, Brighton University Falmer Campus, Meads Building, BN1 9SG.

Summer: Every Wednesday, 5:30-7:30pm, Waterhall Baseball Diamond, Brighton, BN1 8YR.

GAMES

For the 2026 season, Brighton’s youth players will compete in the British Baseball Federation Youth League, playing against clubs from across the southeast. Some of our advanced players are also in the BBF Emerging Player Programme, and the girls and boys GB squads!

COACHING

We are always looking for more people to join our coaching staff, whether as an assistant or lead coach. Full training will be provided for any parents who would like to volunteer.
